Linka Watridge of Corte Madera, California is a mother of two daughters, age eight and six years, and has been married to Peter Watridge for 14 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Exercise Science. She has worked as an independent Human Resources consultant for the past seven years managing a variety of health care projects. Prior to her consulting assignments, she worked for several large employers as a health promotion and health care benefits manager. She spends much of her time volunteering in her daughters' school where she initiated several community service projects. She also managed the school's first online auction to raise funds for the school. Her daughters' school has supported EFF in a number of ways including sponsorship of a fun run, spring fair snow cone sales, bake sales and visits to the 3rd grade classes to educate about Ethiopia and EFF. Linka serves as the Board's Secretary and will carry out the Board's mission to provide medical support and education to the children of Ethiopia.
