Philosophy

Ethiopian Family Fund is committed to excellent efficiency and accountability to our donors.    Today 90% of all money donated goes to our African programs. We also recognize the importance of working in a true partnership with our African counterparts and donors; sincerely caring and striving to help humanity.   It is of utmost importance to have a solid trusting partnership.   We have secured these relationships through our travels; cultivating friendships and trusting business relationships while remaining respectful of their needs and culture.  EFF believes that only with this kind of a relationship can long lasting, sustainable progress be made. 

Yes, the problems in Africa can be overwhelming.  However, our personal relationships in Africa bring knowledge of the simple, small things we can do which will make a huge difference for a child, a family, a community.  We, at EFF, show accountability in all that we do.  Whether it is micro-financing a woman for a garden, buying shoes for a child, sponsoring education for a little boy or any of our other opportunities, the donor can be assured the money goes where it is intended.
