Teresa Bruno lives in Reno, Nevada with her husband, Tony Bruno and her two sons, Michael and Anthony Bruno. She received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business/ Marketing from Moorhead State University. She worked for GE in Anchorage, Alaska as well as Denver, Colorado as a Sales Engineer and Project Manager.

Upon moving to Reno to raise a family, Teresa became involved in several organizations that allowed her to advocate for children and children in education. She has been involved in mentoring with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program, sponsoring a local child through Children’s Cabinet, and created an Enrichment Program for a local school that partners with the local community to add depth, real world experiences and critical thinking to the education process. Teresa is the co-chair of the “Visionary Committee” at a local school bring 21st Century learning to the educational community.

Understanding and advocating for children has become her passion as she continues her efforts with Ethiopian Family Fund.
