On August 24, 2013, EFF and MKI hosted a fundraiser at the home of Marla and Dan Hodes in Laguna Beach, California. $10,000 was raised to go towards the pediatric heart mission in January 2014 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. These surgeries will save the lives of 25 children.
