EFF and Mending Kids International – Life Saving Surgeries

The Ethiopian Family Fund partners with Mending Kids International (MKI) to provide life-changing surgical care to children in Ethiopia. Over the past several years when we have taken surgeons to Ethiopia, hundreds of children have received corrective, transformational surgeries that have given them a chance at longer, healthier and happier lives.Most of the surgeries performed aimed to correct congenital heart defects, severe scoliosis, and significant cranial facial deformities.  While MKI organizes and heads the surgical part of the medical missions, the Ethiopian Family Fund brings volunteers to help comfort children and their families before and after surgery.
