UPDATE ON DEAN’S TRAINING
Dean has been training diligently to raise money to bring a child to the United States for surgery. The bike ride will take place in March 2011.
Dean Hodes has announced his bar mitzvah project. At age 12, he will bicycle from Laguna Beach, CA to San Diego, CA, 60 miles in total. He wants to raise funds for an Ethiopian child’s airfare to the United States to have life-saving surgery.
Dean plans to ask for pledges for the amount of miles he will be cycling. His father and some friends will also join him in the adventure. ” I can’t wait to help a child in need and give him a life-saving surgery” Dean Hodes.
